Siemens NX Training Courses: CAD, CAM, NXOpen, PMI
Siemens NX training at inteliScience comprises 18 courses for Siemens NX and Teamcenter, from NX CAD, NX CAM and NXOpen to sheet metal, assemblies, routing, administration and Teamcenter. Our own NX engineers teach each course in-house or live online in small groups, with exercises on your own parts.
At inteliScience, we don’t deliver generic slide decks. We train and advise on your actual parts, your actual workflows, and the challenges your engineers face day to day – so the knowledge sticks and shows up in your throughput.
What We Offer
Our training and consulting adapts to where your team is and where you want it to be. Whether you’re onboarding new engineers, rolling out NX across a department, or looking to modernize established workflows, we tailor the engagement to your goals.
- Hands-on NX training – from fundamentals to advanced modeling, assemblies, and drafting
- Workflow consulting – identifying where your NX processes lose time and how to fix them
- Onboarding support to get new engineers productive faster
- Best-practice guidance for modeling standards, templates, and reuse
- Guidance on transitioning toward automation and model-based approaches
Siemens NX Courses
These six core courses cover the main areas of Siemens NX; twelve further courses for NX and Teamcenter are listed further down this page. Each runs in-house or live online in small groups, and the exercises can use your own parts.
- NX CAD Training – sketching, part modeling, assemblies and drawings
- NX CAM Training – 3-axis milling, with optional 5-axis and mill-turn modules
- NXOpen Training – NX automation with Python
- NX PMI & MBD Training – PMI, model views and supplier data packages
- CATIA to NX Training – for experienced CATIA users switching to NX
- NX Post Configurator Training – building and maintaining NX CAM postprocessors
What does Siemens NX training cost?
Siemens NX training is usually priced per day: per participant for open courses, per group for in-house courses. We quote our in-house and live online courses after a short call, based on the modules and the group size. Not sure which course fits? The free NX Potential Check shows in 90 minutes where training helps most.
Built Around Your Workflows, Not Generic Examples
Training on abstract sample parts rarely transfers to real work. We build every session around your geometries, your standards, and the tasks your engineers actually perform. The result is knowledge your team can apply the same day – not theory they have to translate later.
How We Work
We don’t maintain a standing bench of idle trainers – our trainers are NX engineers from our team who work in NX projects themselves. That keeps you flexible: you get exactly the expertise your team needs, when it needs it.
Every engagement starts by understanding your team’s current level and your goals. We then design a training or consulting plan that fits your workflows, your schedule, and the outcomes you’re aiming for.
Why inteliScience
- Deep, focused Siemens NX expertise – trainers who are engineers, not generic instructors
- EU-based delivery with timezone and language alignment for Central European teams
- Training built on your real workflows, so the value shows up in daily work

FAQEverything you need to know
Siemens NX training suits engineering teams at any level, from new hires getting up to speed on NX to experienced engineers who want to modernize workflows or master advanced capabilities. We adapt the depth and pace to your team.
Siemens NX training is available both ways. On-site works well for hands-on team training; remote sessions are flexible and cost-efficient for smaller groups or follow-ups. We recommend the format that fits your goals and team setup.
Yes, and it is the most effective way to train. We build sessions around your actual geometries, standards and tasks, so the knowledge transfers directly to daily work instead of staying theoretical.
Yes. Training often goes together with a review of existing NX workflows: where time is lost and which modeling standards, reuse or automation would help. We offer both.
Yes. Courses run in small groups, and engagements scale from a few engineers to a full department.
Often it does. Training frequently surfaces repetitive tasks worth automating with NXOpen. If that is the case, we can outline a path toward automation, without any obligation to go further.
